Works Poorly

Always reseting unit to restart after stall (no music). Hit and miss on USB sticks better quality work in this unit. Hardwire output has failed. Reliability is in the basement league.

I returned it

Unfortunately, I decided to return it. When I plugged it in or turned on the engine the display went strange and I could not use it unless I unplugged for about 20 minutes. (about half the time) Judging from the other good reviews, I probably got a bad unit. When it worked, I was pleased. It had such promise.

Pretty good

For the money this is a pretty good device. No it isn't perfect but it is certainly better sound than AM radio, as someone else compared it to. It isn't as clear as my cd changer that has a direct tap into the antenna but how could it be? We're not comparing apples to apples. I've tuned my treble down just a bit and am satisfied with the results. I couldn't get it to work with a USB stick (tried two differnt ones) but it works fine with an SD card.

not a bad unit

Not a bad unit for what it does. SD storage for MP3s is definitely cool as you can just buy a new card if you need more space for music. Build quality is okay. Sound is good although there is hiss coming through listening to the SD card - it maybe my stock '03 Toyota radio, or, most likely, this unit. Also, the unit almost sounds like you are listening to AM radio. Definitely not FM quality. Not a bad unit as long as it will not break.
